Copyright laws are in place to protect the intellectual property rights of authors, publishers and anyone else that owns the rights to something they have created.
In the continuing effort to strictly comply with existing copyright law and international conventions, The Chinese Source supports the intellectual property rights of the rights holders and ensures that all documents requested from The Chinese Source are copyright-cleared. We maintain an internal system tracking accurate and up-to-date application of copyright laws to ensure that our clients are in compliance with the law.
Before making copies of and/or distributing copies of published materials, we will get permission directly from publishers or rights holders and pays any applicable copyright fees (royalties) to the copyright holders. When applicable, those copyright fees are charged back to the clients at cost and included in the final billing invoices. The Chinese Source makes makes no profit on copyright fees.
