The Chinese Source is making great efforts to provide fast and efficient services at the most affordable rates. Standard rates for article requests are composed of two parts: article base price plus additional charges.
Article Base Price (includes first 10 pages, status reports, billing and invoicing)
- Standard service: Turnaround time 1-2 business days, service starts at US$12.00 per article
- Rush Service: Next business day turnaround, service starts at US$20.00 per article

Plus additional costs where applicable
- Additional pages: US$0.25 per page after 10 pages
- Copyright fees: at cost, see Copyright Royalty
- Articles from Non-local sources: at cost. Less than 15% of our clients' requests can be filled from our non-local sources (including interlibrary loans, outside databases, etc.). For requests cannot be filled, we provide e-mail notification; this e-mail service is free of charge.
- Shipping costs: at cost, see Delivery Options
- Citation verification: FREE
We recommend electronic delivery (PDF files via Email) which is free of charge and delivered in no time at all, saving you time and cost for the international shipment. Other delivery options are available upon request.

- Air Mail: At Cost
- Fed-Ex/UPS/DHL: Simply give us your courier service Account # and we will ship your order via your Fed-Ex, UPS or DHL account
Payment Options
We support numerous payment options:
- Credit Cards: The Chinese Source accept MasterCard, Visa, Discover and American Express. We use PayPal's secure payment interface, and ONLY PayPal has your credit card or bank information. They do not give it to us.
- Check / Wire Transfer: contact dds@thechinesesource.com for account information. Please note: we are not responsible for the wire transfer fee, and it is not included in the order price.
- Deposit Accounts: Designed specifically for bulk order requestors.
Invoices
Electronic invoicing is available upon request. You will find instructions for payment on the invoice. For Monthly Billing requestors, invoices will be issued monthly. In cases of doubt or disagreement on the invoicing details, please contact a sales coordinator to decide.
Deposit Accounts:
If you have China document requests from time to time, to set up a deposit account with us will be more convenient for you. Through the deposit account, you do not need to submit your personal information each time you have a request. By setting up a deposit account, you will also benefit from a 5% discount rate on the basis of regular prices. Minimum deposit is US$200.
