Two types of "Research Aid" service
We offer two types of "Research Aid" service to meet your personalized demand.
- One-time "Research Aid" service: Suitable for customers who need to find articles for projects with imminent closing date. Citation report will be submitted once. If your desired articles fail to appear in the citation report, we will help you complete the search with modified keywords until you get satisfying results.
- Periodical "Research Aid" service: Suitable for customers who need to find articles for ongoing projects. Citation reports will be sent periodically (usually monthly or as desired) to help you keep track of the research status from China publications.
How to use "Research Aid" service?
Follow the simple steps below, you will obtain the full-text documents that are most necessary to your research projects.
- Chat with an online representative or send your research topics to dds@thechinesesource.com. Tell us your research topics, search keywords, document types you are most interested in, your familiar resources and publications, frequency of periodical citation reports you want to receive, etc. The more detailed information you provide, the more efficient service we can provide. If you have special requirements, please specify in your email.
- A representative will contact you within 24 hours to confirm your request.
- On confirmation of your request, we will send the one-time or monthly report to you via email. You may also specify the desired frequency to receive citation reports.
- You tell us which article(s) you want to order full text from the citation report(s).
- We will send you an invoice counting on the selected full-text articles and service fee.
- Full text will be delivered as soon as we receive your payment.
How much does "Research Aid" service cost?
Our "Research Aid" service is cost-effective and affordable. The standard cost comprises two parts: full-text article cost and service cost. Service cost for the "Research Aid" service is US$20.00-US$30.00 per hour. Full-text article cost will be counted on the number of articles ordered (see standard rates of article requests). If you order over 20 articles at one time, you will be able to enjoy a 5% discount for the entire cost.
For customers who use one-time "Research Aid" service, service fee will be charged when we send you the report. If you order full text from the citation report, another invoice for full text will be sent when article delivery is done.
For customers who use periodical "Research Aid" service, service fee will be charged through monthly billing. If you order full text from the monthly citation reports, applicable invoices for full text will be sent each time you order full text.
